Yandex’s virtual voice assistant, Alice, has been given its own morning show, delivering a user personalized rundown of the latest news spanning music, sports, news stories, and other useful information.
Alice product manager Andrei Zakonov has said:
We want Alice to be not only an assistant, but also a friend to spend time with. Therefore, we teach her to follow the news, entertain users and create a pleasant atmosphere in the house, and the morning show is the first step in this direction.
The morning show is currently available across all Yandex.Stations, Mini Stations and other smart speakers with Alice virtual assistant enabled.
Based on user behavior with Yandex and the application, Alice can tall users about random stories and opinion pieces, as well as recommended songs based user playlists and choices made within Yandex.Music.
