Reading through various Russian search forums, there was a lot of chatter in the last week of August around a potential algorithm update, with August 19th seemingly being the epicentre.
Some speculated that the update itself was yet to come, and these SERP changes were a sign of preliminary testing ahead of an update in September.
There has been no official comment from Yandex in regards to algorithm changes since the Vega update.
