Yandex, by way of their Webmaster Blog, have announced a new ratings tracker with Yandex.Directory, which also allows you to compare your ratings with competitor businesses.
This new data can be found in the Statistics section of the Company Rating’s tab:
The rating is not equal to the average of all ratings. Each of them is analyzed by an algorithm that determines the reliability and objectivity of the assessment. It then calculates the weight with which the rating affects the rating.
The rating is also influenced by the number of ratings: users prefer companies with a large number of ratings, even if they are slightly worse on average. Therefore, organizations with an active audience have a higher rating.
Increasing Your Company Rating
- Invite visitors to leave a rating using a QR code that leads to reviews. In the Advertising section of the Promo tab, you can download business card, desktop pyramid holder and QR code layouts for your organization to collect more ratings and reviews.
- Ask customers to leave ratings and reviews on maps or in the organization’s Yandex profile.
- Work with negative reviews – this will show that you care about the opinions of customers and are always ready to listen to them.
