Survey Finds Russian Technology Adoption Lowest In Europe (UK YouGov)

In a survey conducted by YouGov, it has been found that Russia has the lowest % number of “Decicated followers” and “First wave adopters” when it comes to the adoption of new technologies by country.

By contrast, Russia was on average level par with other European nations included in the survey when it comes to latecomers, with the bulk of technology adoption coming in the “Discerning customer” phase.

According to the study, one in five tend to be early adopters.

Early adopters (the dedicated followers + the first wave) make up on average 18% of global consumers in our study. The precise proportion varies from continent to continent – and from nation to nation.

It is also noted that early adopters tend to be, at a demographic level, between the ages of 18 and 34 and have a higher than average disposable monthly income.
