The name will remain the same – Yandex.Business. All features of the Directory will be preserved.
Yandex.Directory is a place where a business manages information about itself: updates contacts, responds to reviews, specifies additional parameters. Information from the Directory is displayed in Maps, Search, and other Yandex services. This makes it easier for people to find and choose the right place. The usual look of the Directory has not changed yet, as services are being combined gradually.
Yandex.Business is a service for entrepreneurs that appeared at the end of 2020. It helps attract customers and makes it easier for entrepreneurs to advertise online. The basis of the service is an Advertising Subscription, from which you can automatically launch an advertising campaign on the Internet and on Yandex sites: in Search, Maps, Services, Zen, as well as on more than 40,000 sites of the Advertising Network.
Roman Chernin, head of small business services at Yandex, explained, both of these services work closely together. For example, organizations that actively update their information receive more user engagement and increase the effectiveness of ad traffic.
Therefore, it was decided to combine the management of advertising and data of organizations under a single brand to make it easier for entrepreneurs to interact with customers and Yandex: from creating an organization card to promoting to the Yandex platform.
Now advertising subscription is used by more than 40 thousand businesses from various fields: beauty salons, auto repair shops, restaurants, coworking spaces. Yandex.Business helps them attract customers so that entrepreneurs do not waste time and effort studying the intricacies of advertising on the Internet.
