In conjunction with the Center for Pedagogical Excellence have launched Yandex.School. A full time learning initiative running between 9am and 2pm every day, boasting resources for teachers, students, parents, and live video lessons.

Whatever happens in the world, children should have the opportunity to gain knowledge: if not at a school desk, then at home. This opportunity provides Yandex.School. We managed to launch the project in record time due to cooperation with the Center for Pedagogical Excellence. Yandex provided its educational services and infrastructure for the School, and our partners at the MTC provided first-class content. We do not exclude that the School will be in demand even after quarantine ends.
About Yandex School
Yandex.School provides video lessons in more than 15 subjects of the national school curriculum, as well as additional classes to prepare for the exam, as well as the examinations themselves.
With a schedule for the week’s lessons being published in advance of each week, schoolchildren and their parents are able to maintain their familiar routine in the new environment.
Yandex.School typically provides children with between 4-6 lessons each day.
There are more than 100 teachers at the Yandex.School, ranging from real-life teachers to book authors and subject matter experts.
The Yandex Education Initiative
The development of a platform for distance learning is part of the Yandex Education Initiative.
The company has been creating and implementing educational programs for 13 years.
Currently, Yandex has more than 30 educational projects and services for people of different ages, from first graders to graduates, from novice specialists to professionals who decide to change their field of activity.
From 2020 to 2022, Yandex intends to invest more than five billion rubles in educational projects.
