Yandex.Maps Has Launched A Project To Support Local Businesses

Yandex.Maps have made changes to help local businesses. Organizations from different fields now have the opportunity to add the “Order Delivery” or “Buy Certificate” buttons on their card on the map. It is thought that clients will still be able to use certificates in the future, once the global pandemic situation becomes more stable. For many institutions in the service and food sector, this method is fast becoming one of the main ways of staying afloat.

By clicking the “Order Delivery” button, users will switch to the organization’s own delivery. This will help local businesses such as candy stores, beauty salons, flower shops, and cafes, and restaurants amongst others.

Yandex.Maps will also collect data on the availability of certificates and delivery, both independently and on a special page where entrepreneurs can leave their suggestions. Information will appear on the Maps within two to three days and its placement is free of charge.

So that as many people as possible can learn how to support their favorite coffee shop or store, Yandex.Maps plan to talk about current offers from businesses in the Coronavirus section and in newsletters from the service. In addition, special filters will appear in the search by organizations, which will make it easier to find places with certificates or special offers.

On the store page, you can also quickly transfer to Yandex.Maps for information about the features of work in connection with the virus and connect to Yandex.Food.
