Yandex.Market Supports Stores Through Bonus Program

The Yandex.Market service will now provide bonuses to stores that need support, especially in the current times. These bonuses will be awarded to both existing stores on the Market as well as to new partner stores. Changes have also been made to the rules for obtaining deferred payment and some procedures for checking stores.

Stores that only started to receive user clicks on Marketplace products in March or April 2020, can obtain a bonus of 3,000 rubles if their expenses exceeded 3,000 rubles in a certain period.

However, Stores that received their first user clicks on marketplace products before March 2020 are eligible for other bonuses.  Sellers of food and health products can expect a bonus of up to 50% of advertising costs not exceeding 50,000 rubles, whereas stores that sell other categories of goods may only receive a bonus if they spent less than 150,000 rubles on the Market in March. This bonus will be up to 15% of advertising costs, but not more than 10,000 rubles.

Payment of bonuses can be made for both categories mentioned above for example, if a store advertises medicines and spent less than 150,000 rubles in March, it will receive separate bonuses for both conditions making a total of up to 65% of advertising costs and not exceeding 60,000 rubles.

Changes have also been made to the rules regarding deferred payment.  Previously only shops with a budget of 20,000 rubles could benefit from deferred payment. Now, any store that has been active on the Market for six months or more and spends at least 10,000 rubles monthly can issue a deferred payment.

In addition, from last week and at least until April 13, the Market’s quality control service does not check the speed of the store’s reaction to the order. Other regular checks when placing an order on a store’s website were also canceled. Quality service employees will now only place orders on the site if a complaint is received from the user.

Yandex has allocated 500 million rubles to support small and medium-sized businesses and program participants can receive up to 15,000 rubles in the form of bonuses for advertising in Yandex.Direct.
