The Yandex.Zen platform is celebrating its sixth anniversary today.

- Zen began in 2015 as a news feed in the mobile Yandex Browser. For the first two years in Zen, only articles from popular media could be read. But in 2017 Zen became a full blogging platform.
- At the end of 2020, Zen began testing live streams.
- In March 2021, Yandex.Zen united Zen and Yandex.Ether video bloggers on its site, becoming a single platform for video bloggers.
- In May 2021 the service launched a program for producing content authors.
Now Yandex.Zen is used by millions of people every day. According to Yandex statistics, 21,110,226 users read, watch, comment and like Zen publications every day, and 46,395 bloggers tell stories, educate, and inspire on their channels.
