Zen Authors Can Now Include Links In Videos

Similar to YouTube cards and annotations, authors on the Yandex Zen platform can now add “links” to their videos.

Thanks to the new feature, you can:

  • make a series of several videos on similar topics. Then the videos will be joined by links and shown in the right column when watching a video.
  • Remove the video recipe and give the video a link to the article – for those who are more comfortable reading, rather than watching.
  • Link to articles or videos from other Zen bloggers. For example, when a review is being written on someone’s material or collaboration is made with other authors.
  • Encourage users to take the survey and give a link to Yandex.Forms.

This feature is currently only available to Nirvana participants, but all Zen bloggers will be able to share links very soon.

And there’s a new way to embed links in articles. In order for the user to switch to another material after reading, now you can simply add the link in the editor. A popup with a link will appear as soon as the user approaches the end of the text.

These new changes are making Zen a more appealing promotion tool to reach existing and new users in the Russian market.
