Yandex press service stated earlier this year that the company is planning to develop an alternative to ChatGPT, a text-based neural network.
“Yandex will develop YaLM 2.0, its own version of the ChatGPT network,” the company commented. YaLM 2.0 will be integrated into its search engine, home assistant, and other services. The timeframe for the development of the new service is unknown at the moment.
OpenAI launched ChatGPT chatbot in November 2022, which can generate texts, answer questions, and write code.
