The service for receiving Yandex search database answers in XML format – Yandex XML will stop functioning this autumn. Instead, Yandex Search API will be used instead.
The new service also works with three types of searches (Russian, Turkish, and worldwide), which allows users to receive answers in the appropriate format and supports indexing of text pages and documents. The following file types are indexed: html, pdf, rtf, doc, xls, ppt, docx, odt, odp, ods, odg, xlsx, pptx.
Advantages of the cloud Search API over Yandex XML:
- There is no need to register sites with Webmaster.
- You can set any request limits in PAYG; there are no restrictions on the volume of traffic from Webmaster sites.

- Flexible IP configuration from console management.
