Is Yandex.Direct (Paid Search) A Yandex Organic Ranking Factor?


Much like with Google’s relationship with Google Adsense, there is no relationship between your paid ad spend and your organic search performance.

That being said, if you’re bidding on search phrases you wouldn’t otherwise be found for, there is the fact you’re introducing your website (and brand) to new audiences, and they may follow up by searching for your [brand + product/service] at a later date when they’ve done more research, and ready to refine their conversion options.

Similarly if you rank in traffic driving positions for search terms, and there is little to no paid search on those SERPs, adding your own paid result can siphon your organic clicks.
