VK launched VK Teams communication platform for developers. Companies using the platform can integrate their own services and mini-applications there.
VK Teams combines a messenger, applications for planning a workday and setting tasks, a mail service, a calendar and other tools. Partners who install the platform according to the on-premise model – deploy it on their own infrastructure – can supplement the solutions with their own useful services. These can be applications for the adaptation of new specialists, work with vacations, etc.
You can install new mini-applications in VK Teams through the chatbot. All employees can install a mini-application through the admin panel. The developed services appear for all employees in the VK Teams super-app menu.
At the moment, developers can create widgets in HTML5 and JavaScript. In the future, a constructor will appear on the platform for simple and quick creation of simple services.

The VK team initially created VK Teams as a communication platform for corporate work, and then began to expand its functionality with additional services: integration with mail, calendar, task tracker and other tools. To make the platform more flexible and efficient, partners can customize it to fit their needs and supplement it with unique mini-applications,” explained Mikhail Chizhikov, Head of Communication Products at VK Tech.
VK also announced that the partners of the advertising network will be able to increase income from monetization due to the new InPage format.
