Wildberries introduces additional measures to protect against scammers. Now, when registering a new seller, you must make a guarantee fee of 10,000 rubles (roughly $175 USD).
This fee can be paid by any bank card.
Identification of new personal accounts of sellers through Tinkoff ID and WB PAY has also been added, in the future – through the State Services. This will increase the transparency of operations on the marketplace.
In September 2022, the free registration of sellers on Wildberries was suspended due to the appearance of a large number of personal accounts created by cybercriminals.
