Twitter, founded in 2006, is a social media platform boasting 330-million MAU (monthly active users). The criteria for verification is that an account must be authentic, notable, and active.
The verification comes after a number of years of hard work, including publishing a number of articles on platforms such as Search Engine Journal (amassing more than 500,000 reads), speaking at conferences around the world, and running the West’s number one Yandex and Russian search news and insights website.
