Yandex Plus Subscriptions Passes 10-Million

Yandex Plus has passed the mark of 10 million subscribers – their number has doubled over the past year.

As a reminder, Yandex launched a unified subscription service for its services 3 years ago, in May 2018. Yandex Plus provides access to KinoPoisk and Yandex.Music, as well as cash back points that can be spent on purchases, trips, and entertainment in Yandex services.

Yandex Plus is available in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, and Israel. Yandex Plus costs 199 rubles a month, a Plus Multi-family subscription for 4 people costs 299 rubles.

During the entire existence of the subscription, users have watched more than 1 billion hours of content on KinoPoisk, listened to more than 2 billion hours of music and podcasts, and accumulated almost 10 billion Plus points in services with cashback. People most often spend points on taxi rides, ordering groceries in the Shop and goods on the Market, as well as orders in Food.

Today Yandex opened to its users the opportunity to connect 3 more close people to Plus for free by the end of the year. This option appeared on the subscription page for all residents of the Russian Federation.
