Plus Customers To Get Free Yandex.Market Delivery

RuStore now offers TikTok, Opera Mini, Skype Lite and other applications from foreign developers

In a move that will affect ecommerce and buying behaviour in Russia, Yandex.Market have announced that Plus customers now get free shipping on orders over 699 rubles, but not on large ticket items or items from partner sellers.

Basically Amazon Prime delivery & video, for a Western comparison.

As announced via the Telegram channel:

The new terms apply in more than 100 cities, but do not apply to large orders and goods delivered by the partner seller.

In addition, subscribers receive cashback points on the Market for purchases —up to 5% of the cost of goods with a special mark. Plus Points can be spent when paying for new orders on the marketplace, as well as in other Yandex services.

In 2020, the number of Market customers who have a Yandex Plus subscription has grown more than 2.5 times – now about a quarter of the service’s users have it. As statistics show, Yandex Plus subscribers often buy on the Market – compared to other marketplace customers, they make 20% more orders, and their average check is 17% higher.
