Yandex announced a new strategy for PromoPages – A daily budget with the website’s goal optimisation.

With the new strategy, the advertiser can select a goal from the Yandex Metrics installed on the site and set up attribution: by the first interaction, by the last, and by the last significant one. The campaign will be optimized for people who are more likely to reach it.

Yandex recommends choosing a goal that will be achieved at least 20-30 times a week in the PromoPages campaign. If there are no such goals at the bottom of the funnel, you need to take higher ones.

Also, changes to the campaign settings do not need to be made in the first 3-5 days, because when the goal or attribution type is changed, the campaign will start learning again.

In order for the PromoPages advertising campaign settings to be able to link a Metrica counter, you need to grant access to it. After that, you can choose the goal for which the campaign will be optimized.
